After a 4.5 hour drive we finally get in the sea! We were met by 4ft faced waves which were long clean and with the strong off shore held their shape beautifully.
It was a tad crowded in the water but not so bad as to ruin the day.
Managed to practice my turns over and over again, and almost caught a tube (it was a small one!) but I held my position to low in the wave for too long and trashed myself
By the end of the day the waves had increased to about 6ft faces and I was knackered.
All in all a great day on great waves!
